This photo was taken by my Grandfather, and has been in my studio for years. I love the sense of drama and wind on the left, contrasted by the calm waters of the bay on the right. Not obvious at first glance is the lone figure on the shore of the calm bay… facing the wind, but also sheltered. The details below in the grid tell more of the story – about heartache and healing.
